About
Emily is a paralegal with meaningful experience in family law, currently preparing to sit for the bar exam. She earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac School of Law in 2025, following a distinguished undergraduate career at Quinnipiac University, where she graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minors in Spanish and Legal Studies, and earned her Paralegal Certificate.
During law school, Emily developed a passion for advocating for individuals and families navigating complex legal systems. Her dedication to client-centered advocacy is grounded in both her academic training and her hands-on involvement in public interest work. She also had the opportunity to study human rights issues in Guatemala as part of a specialized course, and participated in a trip to Guatemala in 2023, gaining invaluable insight into international human rights law.
Throughout her education, Emily was actively engaged in student leadership, holding roles such as Senior Class Vice President and serving on the executive boards of the Political Science Association and Leading Women of Tomorrow. She also participated in Mock Trial, was a member of Gamma Phi Beta, and was inducted into the Order of Omega honor society. She also received multiple honors, including Dean’s List recognition and two President’s Volunteer Service Awards for her outstanding contributions to community service.
Now based in Daniel Island, South Carolina, Emily is excited to be starting her legal career in a supportive and community-focused environment. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
